NVMe

NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) is a modern protocol for communication between a system and SSD-type storage, designed specifically for flash memory. Instead of using the older SATA interface, which dates back to the era of spinning disks, NVMe operates directly over the fast PCIe bus. The result is a dramatic increase in storage performance.

How NVMe delivers its advantage

The key difference lies in the path data travels between the disk and the processor.
